Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

Tikize shows statistics about TikTok LIVE broadcasts. This page explains what information we handle, why, and what your choices are.

2. What we collect when you sign in

When you sign in with TikTok (via TikTok's official Login Kit), TikTok shares with us, with your consent:

• your TikTok open ID (an app-scoped identifier),
• your username (@handle), display name, and avatar image.

We never receive or store your TikTok password. We do not post on your behalf, read your messages, or access your followers. You can revoke Tikize's access at any time in the TikTok app (Settings → Security → Manage app permissions); revoking does not delete data we already hold — see section 7 for deletion.

3. What we collect from public broadcasts

Our systems watch selected public TikTok LIVE broadcasts and record activity that any viewer in the room could see: chat messages, gifts sent, likes, joins, and broadcast metadata (title, timing, viewer counts). We only observe rooms that are publicly open; we cannot and do not access private or friends-only broadcasts.

4. How we use it

• To build the statistics you see: gift summaries, leaderboards, broadcast histories, fan activity.
• To operate your account and the features you unlock by signing in.
• To keep the service secure (rate limiting, abuse prevention, logs).

5. What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We do not run third-party advertising or tracking on Tikize.
• We do not use your data to contact you outside the service, except to answer your own requests.

6. Sharing and storage

Data is stored on infrastructure we rent (Amazon Web Services, Seoul region). We share personal data with no one else, except if a law or court order requires it. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example, a broadcast's total gift count) may be shown publicly as part of the service.

7. Retention and deletion

• Low-significance activity records (for example, small gifts and routine chat in rooms nobody follows) are automatically deleted on a short schedule — typically within days.
• Records that power long-term statistics are kept while the service operates.
• You can ask us to delete data tied to your TikTok identity — email contact@tikize.com from a verifiable address or include your @handle. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Tikize uses only what a login needs: a session cookie so you stay signed in, and local storage for interface preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Legal basis and your rights

For signed-in users, we process data based on your consent given through TikTok Login Kit and on the necessity of running the service you requested. For public broadcast activity, we process information the person made public in a live broadcast, within the scope of that disclosure. Under applicable law (including the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at the contact below.

10. Changes and contact
